What Our Service is Like:
Worship:
Our band begins the service with music for about 25 - 30 minutes. In this time of worship, some will stand, some will sit, some will raise their hands. Just be yourself and do whatever is comfortable for you. We are passionate about worship, but we recognize that worship looks and feels different for each person. Our goal is to bring all that we are and have to God. In turn, we have great joy in experiencing God's presence. The time closes with a scripture reading and a prayer.
Break Time:
After worship we make announcements about upcoming events or classes and then we break for about 5 minutes. You can get some coffee, stretch, meet new people, etc. For some people this is unusual and a little awkward, but it helps us connect with new friends and creates a little space to transition to the teaching. The Nursery and Teen classes are now available.
Message:
We have a teaching from the Bible for about 30 minutes that is not only easy to understand, but practical as well. The message is accompanied by visual images projected on a screen up front, including the text under consideration and images or video clips which help illustrate the ideas.
Prayer:
We usually close out the morning with a worship song. We also extend an invitation to receive personal prayer. Trained prayer team members will be availabe down front after the service to support you and pray with you in reagards to any particuoar need you may have. On some weekends the service ends with a communion celebration. Bread and juice are shared, signifying the life of Christ poured out for us. If communion isn't something meaningful for you, feel free to pass. Immediately after the service the coffee and food are still available.
What About My Kids?:
We have a nursery and agr appropriate classes for children through their teen years.
Our Children's Classes
Nursery: to 35 months, located next to the cafe on the main floor.
Pre-School: Ages 3 through Kindergarten, located on the main floor, just beyond the restrooms.
"Kids" Church: Grades 1-5, located upstairs, meeting for the entire morning service.
Teens: Grades 6-12 - located upstairs in the teen room.

Offerings:
An offering is taken at the end of each service.
